I can hardly believe it's already almost ten days into July! Summer so far has been busy busy...filled with swimming, yard sales, parties, surprise visits from friends and a trip to Nashville and back again! That brings me to this week's Must See Monday... I've been meaning to share with you one of my favorite things we saw on our trip...The Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville has this awesome exhibit of tree houses (Terrific Treehouses) inspired by various literary works. There were seven in all but I wish there had been more! I loved exploring each one but all in all I think The Rainbow Fish was my favorite. I loved how the designers used CDs for the scales. Not only was it sparkly and colorful on the outside but when you climbed inside there was this beautiful glow and it was surprisingly cool in the belly of the fish...I could have stayed in there all day. I really want to make my own tree house now.
If you were to make a tree house based on a favorite piece of literature what would you do?
Can you guess what books these other three houses are inspired by?
