If you are opting for a cocktail this evening, as I am, and like bloody marys here is my recipe. It was passed down to me by my mother in-law. The great thing about them is that they are somewhat healthy- you get a whole serving of vegetables in just one drink! Also, I've never gotten a hangover from them!
I don't do measurements so just adjust to your taste...
You will need:
A glass of ice...size of your choosing
A shot or so of vodka of your choice...personally I like the triple distilled Smirnoff
Then pour in some dill pickle juice...I like the polish kosher - it's a little spicier
Top with tomato/vegetable juice
Finish with Dill Pickle Spear and salt and pepper (optional)
