It was love at first sight. I saw the March of the Zapotec CD and had this weird de ja vu/ESP moment, much the same way I first saw Mr. Hare, and just knew I had to have it. Their music puts me in a nice hazy dreamlike state...taking me to other lands, other eras...hope you enjoy!

Lately...

Lately I haven't had much time to do all things I want to do. Between going to the pool, birthday parties, family visits, work and all the other usual daily activities and responsibilities of being a parent it's hard to find time. I finally had a day off by myself this past week and got to do a little bit of what was on my to do list but time flies as they say. One of the things was to take pictures of a bunch of vintage belt buckles and clip-on earrings that recently came into my possession. I haven't gotten them listed yet on etsy but here's a peek at some of them....

Ode to Tennessee

I got an etsy treasury tonight and in honor of our annual summer trip to Tennessee, we'll be taking in a few weeks, I picked these items. We lived in Memphis for eight years, have family around Nashville, so we go back to some part of Tennessee at least two or three times a year. I can't really put my finger on exactly what it is about this state that I love so much...the music, the kitsch...there's just a timelessness about it. I'll post more about my favorite spots later! ~Horse
