Elvis P. vs. Kenny G.

Recently I heard on the radio someone say that Kenny G. has the biggest selling Christmas album of all time. Surely, I thought to myself, Elvis or maybe Bing Crosby must hold that record so I did a little research. I found that Elvis' Christmas Album (1957) has been certified (by the Recording Industry Association of America ) for shipments of more than 12 million units whereas Kenny G.'s Miracles: The Holiday Album has sold 7,215,000 copies as of December 29, 2009 according to actual scans by Nielsen Soundscan (1991-present). If 3 million of Elvis' album were shipped in 1957 and another 9 million for the 1970 re-issue, despite not having the actual barcode scans, Elvis is clearly the winner. Kenny G. blows don't let anyone tell you differently...this spread of misinformation needs to be stopped. I encourage everyone to go out and buy Elvis' Christmas Album this holiday season for yourself or for someone in need and put the rightful King of Christmas back in his thrown.
