I've never been one to settle, to take something at face value. I've always questioned...whether the topic be religion, politics or why I had to take Algebra in high school. A conventional life was not what I had in mind. I never thought I'd return to a life in the suburbs, making a long commute and sitting in front of a computer all day but that is what my life has become. People keep telling me that I should be thankful that I have a job and "it could be worse" seems to be the mantra around the workplace. And I am thankful and yes, it could be worse but why should I settle? Why should anyone settle?
