Repurposing VIntage Jewelry...

Not that long ago a nice bundle of vintage clip on earrings and pins came into my possession. I started to list some of them on etsy but I'm feeling a little reluctant to let them go so I started doing some research on ways to repurpose them here are some of the ideas and inspiration I found....

Magnets! Such a simple idea and I'm always in need of them to put up my daughter's latest drawing or paper from school. I found this on Country Living - they have a lot of great DIY ideas.

Hair clips! This one is by Be Atomic Beauty on etsy.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to make jewelry but these are some great pieces made from old jewelry. I especially like the bottom right necklace by Bee Vintage Redux

Anyway, who knows what will become of them. Maybe I will incorporate them into a mixed media piece or sculpture. I guess we'll see!
